League of Legends, the popular multiplayer online battle arena game from Riot Games, has released its fair share of complicated characters in the past. There’s champions like Kindred with two spirits, Rakan and Xayah which have special bonuses when played together, and then there’s League of Legends’ newest champion, Aphelios, who exists on a level of complexity all his own.
Riot Games today released a kit primer that goes into detail on Aphelios’ abilities, which are unlike any other champion’s in the past. First off, his whole thing is that he cycles through five different weapons. He doesn’t choose which ones to use at any given time, but instead the next one in line becomes available as he runs out of ammo.
You won’t be able to choose which weapons Aphelios wields however at any given time. Each of the weapons carry 50 ammo each, and when one runs out, the next one in the list is cycled into the slot. Empty weapons go to the back of the line to recharge. In addition, if you are in need of Cheap LOL WR Account, you can visit our website 5mmo.com.
The first weapon Aphelios cycles through is a scythe pistol, followed by a rifle that looks eerily similar to the Energy Sword from the Halo series. The marksman then pulls out a flamethrower, which will be a great wave clear option, before switching to a gravity cannon. Aphelios finishes his weapon showcasing with a boomerang-like Chakram that will be used for close range. Despite the daunting task of mastering a champion with such a high skill cap, Aphelios will definitely give ADC mains a challenging, but rewarding, bot lane experience.
With the ability set that’s significantly different than anything else League players are used to, even needing its own HUD, it’s no wonder Riot has presented Aphelios as the champion with the highest skill ceiling players have witnessed thus far. Players will be able to start mastering him with patch 9.24, which is scheduled to go live on December 11. This will be the last patch for this year.
