Everyone has seen screenshots of just how gorgeous Black Desert Online’s character creation system is. But now you can see for yourself – a free version of their character creator has been released. This morning, a friend of mine commented on a Facebook post in which I shared that list, saying that he thinks there shouldn’t be a difference between the two categorizations. I’ve had discussions with people about this before, and I figured it might be a topic some of you would find interesting, so I want to jump into the reasoning behind my distinction of those two descriptions.

That’s when I notice the orange couch off to the left of me looks a bit less orange than it did a moment before. Wait, black desert daum cash now it’s bright orange. It keeps desaturating, then saturating. And does the room suddenly look brighter, too? I glance at the grinning blonde girl to my right. She’s blissed out. Behind her is a blue chair. Its breathing (uh, yeah, breathing) matches mine. Yep, agreed whole-heartedly. I get that people hate the Witcher example, but playing BDO stirs up so many similar emotions in me. Just wandering around the world and getting lost in an activity is quite a nice change of pace.

My only worry is that I don’t know yet if that sense of wonder should be expected to stick around, or if that’s a temporary thing until the good ol “endgame grind” sets in. Black Desert Online is certainly an interesting entry in the MMORPG field, with absolutely beautiful graphics, what can probably be defined as the best character creation features in the industry, and fast-paced action oriented combat. My friends can’t sit still. One strokes the carpet, which appears to be vibrating. Another picks up an African drum and starts tapping. At this point, I’m a little sweaty.

Unless you’re a MMO connoisseur like myself, you’ve probably not even heard about the upcoming Black Desert Online MMORPG slated to release hopefully early 2016. So what is Black Desert Online and what makes it stand out against the plethora of competition? War in Black Desert games has always remained poles apart, and for good reason. The silver screen has often resorted to utilizing the horrors of war when weaving a story while games normally attempt a less poignant approach.

Using the magic of interactivity the action and heat of battle is more often translated to the players than the travesty unfolding before them. It makes sense; murdering people technically shouldn’t be as fun as it is. This War of Mine: The Little Ones, then, brings an oddly profound look at war. It’s not all macho men and action, but that doesn’t mean it’s worth overlooking. bdo daum cash account Putting that aside, and assuming that we’re all OK with ranking pieces of art that have no business being ranked, we come to the favorite vs. best argument.

Again, this is all subjective and the definitions will come down to each individual person’s preferences and outlooks, but I approach it like this: for a movie to make my list of personal favorites, it has to speak to me on a deep. But I’m not out under the stars frying on 500 mics. I’m sitting cross-legged on the floor of a hotel ballroom in Austin, Texas—wearing an HTC Vive and a pair of headphones. Because this trip came courtesy of Origins, a VR experience created to promote the new documentary Orange Sunshine.
