It is important to learning which techniques to use

Blade & Soul has a remarkable action combat system. Unlike action MMO titles like Vindictus or TERA, Blade & Soul makes heavy use of its targeting system to both simplify and expand your combat options during battle. Attacks are context sensitive. For example, the left mouse button is your basic attack, but against an airborne enemy the left mouse attack triggers a powerful anti-air attack. Learning which techniques to use, and how to chain them into one another, is what makes Blade & Soul so engaging. Currently the Warlock class will be playable as a Lyn and a Jin, the Yun/Kun and Gon classes are not availble as a Warlock class, but instead the Gon and Yun/Kun classes will be gaining the Soul Fighter Class.

We will have a article about the Soul Fighter coming out at a later date, but for now since the Warlock class is just around the corner we figured the Warlock was more important. What Skills Does the Warlock Have? The Warlock as a few sets of skills that we cannot show off to the full extent due to the level of our Warlock, but we can go into detail as all the class skills are translated. The skill tree is a mess due to the length of English Text vrs Chinese Text, but there isn’t anything that we can do about that. As you can see there is a lot of skills just like every class, however we don’t have them all unlocked due to our main focus right now being on Blade and Soul NA. We apologies for that however, the point of the post isn’t to show off the skills, but instead it’s to give a nice over view of the class and what to expect with the new class.

Once this class is realesed it will be only a matter of time before legendary weapons and Silver Frost Mountains are released. If you’ve been playing Blade & Soul since it released, you’ve undoubtedly heard about the Warlock class from someone who played the game on another region’s server. Warlocks are intended for mid-range combat, as they are a ranged class and use spells. Unique to this class, however, is the ability to summon ghastly companions that will help the Warlock in solo and party play. With an arsenal of dark spells, debilitating incantations, and the ability to create ominous companions at will, it’s no wonder why Warlocks have been so highly anticipated on both North America and Europe’s servers.

With the recent announcement that NCSoft’s Blade & Soul was finally coming west this winter, many fans wondered just exactly how the game would be – following a long time in the pipeline since its original localization announcement years ago. Featured above, a livestream was held with the development staff to answer fan questions, following the game’s western release announcement. While the game will be free-to-play, we know now that there will be no pay-to-win elements, and there will be no fatigue or vigor system – which is something the Chinese version in fact does have.

One of the biggest things to take away from the livestream blade & soul gold is the fact that the game will remain completely uncensored. The western localization is not a direct port of the Asian version, so instead fans can expect the most up to date version of the game, however, it will be launching with only the first three acts of the story, so that players don’t blast through everything all at once. Blade & Soul doesn’t reinvent the wheel when it comes to undertaking quests, forming parties, or looting dungeons.

Enemies give negligible amounts of experience per kill, blade and soul gold so the bulk of your leveling is done through quests. Quests are all varied and interesting, if you take the time to read the quest dialogue. They run the gamut from grandiose quests like helping resistance militia sabotage an encroaching empire, to more menial tasks, like collecting pearls for a vain villager. Because reaching the current 45 level cap is so fast, its easy to mash the accept prompt and skip the stories’ more nuanced branches. You can reach level 45 easily if you undertake most quests in each area you visit, which shouldn’t take you more than a day of in-game time, total.
